About HAEL

Founder
Maksim Zhurakov
Practitioner since 1986 — began in professional sport, working with the body, attention, and inner composure. HAEL is the calm, non-medical route he built for people who need a first clear step.
Optional HAEL Guide
HAEL can help you explore what feels most present right now and suggest a grounded next step. Choose how you would like to begin.
HAEL Guide is an optional AI-powered educational tool, not a human counselor. It does not provide therapy, medical advice, or emergency support. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information. See our Privacy Policy for data-handling details.
HAEL is a nonprofit spiritual and educational initiative operated by Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry. Explore free resources for everyday learning, reflection, and times of change — whether life feels steady or difficult.
We are not therapy. We are not a crisis line. We are not a commercial product. We are a calm, structured place to begin — when you are not sure where else to start.
Mission
HAEL makes useful educational resources accessible and supports reflection on physical well-being, mental and emotional life, and spiritual meaning. Learning is voluntary; our materials do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
HAEL's Spiritual Vision
HAEL's spiritual vision is set out in its foundational book, "HAEL. The Book of the Creator and Living Creation." The teaching is centered on faith in the one eternal Creator, human dignity, love, and responsible participation in life. Participation is voluntary. The open educational resources remain available without adopting HAEL's faith.
Explore HAEL's Spiritual VisionWho it is for
HAEL is for people who want to learn, reflect, explore meaning, or find a first step during a difficult time. You do not need to be facing a crisis to use the free resources. We welcome people across backgrounds and beliefs.
What makes it different
The free educational resources do not require a subscription or donation. Separately priced events do not change access to the free library.
Boundaries
HAEL is not a medical service, emergency service, or replacement for professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical care. It is not a crisis hotline. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.
We provide orientation and initial guidance, not treatment. If you need professional help, we encourage you to seek it from qualified providers.
Nonprofit orientation
HAEL is operated by Global Interfaith Progressive Spiritual Ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-4159588). Donations and grants support the platform, content creation, and operational costs.
Vision
To become a trusted first point of entry for anyone in need of guidance — a place that meets people where they are, helps them find ground, and gently connects them with the next step forward.
Ethics and principles
- · Access to guidance should not depend on ability to pay
- · People deserve dignity, not funnels
- · Orientation should come before pressure to act
- · Transparency is more important than growth
- · Calm is a design principle, not an afterthought
